The whole site feels messy and a bit outdated to me. There’s so much going on that it’s hard to know where to look, and instead of feeling helped, I kind of felt like just another ticket number being pushed through the system...

I got my order faster than I thought I would, which was a nice surprise. The tracking updated well too. It did end up taking one extra day compared to what it first showed, but that wasn't a big deal.

I’ve been really happy with how portable this is. I threw it in my bag for a weekend trip and barely noticed the extra weight. It works well and feels sturdy, which I appreciate. The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is that the price feels a little high, but overall I’m glad I got it.

The light works fine overall, but it’s kind of not as bright as I was hoping, especially if you’re using it at night. It does the job, more or less, just not amazing

I bought this thinking it’d be a solid addition to my emergency kit, but... I don’t know, it felt more like a neat little gadget than actual prep gear. Some of the items are just way too tiny to be useful, it didn’t make me feel very prepared if things really went sideways. For the price, I expected a lot more. I ended up swapping most of it out with cheaper stuff I picked myself.

I really like the concept behind the VSSL gear, and when I first got it, it felt sturdy and well made. I’ve taken mine on a few camping trips, and it worked fine overall, but I did notice the outside started getting scratched up faster than I expected.
Nothing actually broke, so I wouldn’t say it’s a bad buy. I’m just a little cautious with gear I might need to rely on outdoors, and for the price, I was hoping it would feel tougher after some real use. It’s decent, but I’d probably think twice before counting on it as my main piece of gear

The site was mostly easy to use, and I appreciated that finding the gear didn’t feel like a whole mission. Pages loaded fine on my phone, which feels like the bare minimum companies should get right if they want people to shop smoothly.

The filters were okay, not perfect, but good enough to help me narrow things down without too much hassle. I do think sites have a bit of a responsibility to make things clear and not waste people’s time, and this one mostly did that.

Checkout was the part that got a little clunky. I had to go back once to double-check details, and the cart didn’t feel as smooth as it could’ve. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but making that final step easier would feel more respectful to customers.

Overall, it’s a handy little kit and it does come with the basics like a fire starter, compass, a few first aid items, and a light. That said, some of the stuff feels a bit minimal, so I’m not sure how much I’d rely on it in a real situation. I do wish it included more tape or some water purification tablets

I’ll be honest, the gear looks really good and it works the way it’s supposed to. I didn’t have any major issues with the quality or performance. But for what it costs, I was expecting something that felt a bit more special. In the end, it’s cool stuff, but I walked away feeling a little disappointed because I just don’t think the value is there.

It works well and packs away easily, so I don’t really get the fuss. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and it’s been a handy little thing to have around.
